This small 3 inch Newcomb College pottery vase sold for $1250 in May 2011. The vase has the following marks: NC circle, eg-16, JM and B imprints.

This 6″ tall Newcomb College Vase is signed “AFS” (Anna Francis Simpson), “JM” (Joseph Myers), also “EW ‘89″ and an impressed “B” in circle. It sold for $1300 in May 2011.

This 5″ Newcomb College Vase in Blue sells for $3675 in May 2011.

This Newcomb College Tankard/Coffee by LeBlanc sold for $6300 in February 2010. The artist is Marie de Hoa LeBlanc, I believe, who was at Newcomb College from 1909-1914. She won several big awards during the early 1900’s

This 1914 Newcomb Pottery Vase by Anna Frances Simpson sold for $1200 in heavy bidding in August 2009.  The vase has Anna Frances Simpson’s mark,  # 78 under her signature, Registration # GP34,  Shape # 260,  and C within a circle  for the buff clay body and semi-matt glaze.  The Vase is  3″ tall.

This vase sold for the starting bid of $1979 in July 2009. The composition is Moss Covered Trees and Moon. It has the original label, an artist incised HB for Henrietta Bailey, an incised Newcomb College NC logo, and A-42 for 1901. The vase was sold with glaze flaking near the rim and a hairline. The vase measured 3.5″ tall and 6″ wide.

Wow, this Newcomb College Mug signed by Marie de Hoa Le Blanc sold for $1,941 Buy it Now Price in July 2009.   The mug measures 4 1/8″  tall and is marked with the Newcomb College NC logo and is also marked PP40 and the artist Marie de Hoa Le Blanc’s signature.  The mug was listed with no damage.

Marie de Hoa Le Blanc (1874-1954) was a very talented Artist who attended Newcomb college in the early 1900’s and then returned in 1909-1914.  She also received further education at the Art Institute of Chicago, Harvard University, with Martin Huyman in Munich and with L’Hote, Colarossi, and Grand Chaumiere in Paris.
