Unmarked tile serving tray by San Jose Mission Pottery of San Antonio, Texas sold for $1650 in March 2010. This is an unusual piece made with two tiles placed in a wood frame with rope handles. Each tile size is 8″x8″ and the total size of the tray is 17″ long and a bit over 9″ from top to bottom.

The graphics feature two Mexicans in sombreros about to engage in a knife fight. The bottle of tequila is shown at their feet and the shadowy cocks in the upper corners portend a sad result for one of these brawlers.
