As my loyal readers know, I moved from Chicago to Colorado a few years ago.   What do I miss most?  The Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, and Portillos.  Oh - and my family and friends - sorry guys.

Tomorrow the Bears play those other fellow from Wisconsin (can’t recall the name) - it’s like Christmas in September! The oldest rivalry in football and I will have a front row seat because of Direct TV.

• Forte is a better football player than Ryan Grant … so we win.
• Cutler is our new franchise so we win!  Alex Brown is a sacking maniac when he plays during prime time.
• Cheese makes you tired and gassy … so we win!
• Hester is due for a 90 yard touchdown, so we win,

Even better, because I have Directv I get to watch any football game that I want all day.  It’s like Thanksgiving every week!  And if my wife makes me run to the store, I can still check the scores using my cell phone and Superfan.   Now … if only I had some Portillos!

My friend has Direct TV in Texas … so he isn’t missingthe Bears either.  As for the Cubs .. it’s your typical September.  Cubs are over.  But next year we are going to win the World Series!
