Wow.  I need to start looking for old salt glazed crocks!  It may be a recession, but this rare 3 gallon crock fetched a good price.   The Crock measures 13″ x 13″ and is incised C. Romer The Groceryman Rondout N.Y.  The crock has a blue cobalt dog resting in the grass.
