Weller Pottery: Forest Pattern
The Weller Forest pattern is one of my favorites. It was designed by Rudolph Lorber, and inspired by countryside scenery that he once witnessed from the window of a train. These are typically matte glazed, but can be found in a high glaze. Rudolph Lorber, an Austrian native, joined Weller in 1905. He created many of Weller’s embossed lines including Woodcraft and Coppertone.
This 8″ vase has an estimated value of $175-$200
